Gym is open for members during all open building hours.  Gym use will be limited by practices and league activity but it will be open all day and half court use will  be available most evenings.

Portage Township YMCA's Gymnastics Team - "The Sparklers"
will be hosting a meet on
 

 

YMCA Golf League

Starts in April -  $50 for members and $75 for others.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  April 16th

They will meet and play on Thursday afternoons April through August at Robbinhurst Golf Club (Portage). 
 
 
 

Coed Volleyball League 

Participants: League is for participants 14+. The league is coed and teams are organized to play 6 on 6. Games: will be played on Monday nights starting at 7pm.  (April-14 through May 19) 

 

Portage Township YMCA offers Home School P.E.
As the Portage Township YMCA opens its new gymnasium, it will be starting a new program offering home schooled kids the opportunity to exercise, play and compete against other children their own ages and to socialize and interact with one another. Participants will also learn the YMCA four core values (caring, honesty, respect and responsibility) and how to apply those values in their daily life. This program is designed for the ages 5 - 7, 8 - 10, and 11 - 13. Thursdays, at 1 p.m. for one hour on March  13, 20 and 27 basketball will be the activity. The activity will be indoor soccer for April and volleyball for May. Registration is required monthly for each activity with the registration fee being paid at the beginning of each monthly session. Fees for YMCA members are $8 per child or $24 per family of three or more children and for others it is $16 per child or $48 per family of three or more children. CHALLENGER SOCCER CAMP

Portage Township YMCA and Portage Parks and Recreation department present a week long soccer camp that will take place from June 23rd - 27th at Imagination Glen. It will be conducted by coaches/players from England. The camp is open for kids from three to sixteen years of age. Please contact the YMCA Sports Director, Ryan Penrod , for more information.

Ryan moved to Portage from Muncie, Indiana where he served as the Program Center Director of the Muncie Family YMCA since 2003.
